About
Vasilis P. Antoniou was born in 1996 in Karditsa, Greece. He holds a Law Degree from the University of Cyprus, in which he studied with a scholarship from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Education. During his student years, he was one of the founding members of the Law Club of the University of Cyprus, of which he served as a President for three consecutive years. Having completed his twelve – month training at C. Markou & Co. LLC and after succeeding in the relevant written examination in 2019, he works as an Advocate and Legal Consultant in the same firm, where he handles in-court and out-of-court cases (covering a wide range of legal fields) as well as matters related to the Company Law. He is an active member of the publishing team of the student – law journal “Nomomachia” in which he has also published a number of legal articles, while at a research level he has collaborated with Dr. Christiana Markou, researcher at the CERIDES (Centre of Excellence in Risk & Decision Sciences – European University Cyprus). In 2022, he became a Certified Mediator for Civil and Commercial Disputes. He has also participated as a speaker in international conferences organised both in Cyprus and abroad, where he analysed legal issues.
